With over 25 years of experience as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Armughan Azhar is a highly qualified medical professional, currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Ortho Remedy Clinic and with National Health Services, United Kingdom. Dr Azhar also relishes participating in elective procedures, independent theatre lists, and fracture clinics.

 

Dr Azhar graduated from the highly prestigious Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, in 1995, from where he got his M.B.B.S. After that, he continued his medical journey to obtain his F.R.C.S. from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Azhar acquired his MCh Orth (Master of Orthopaedic Surgery) at the University of Dundee in 2005. Leading up to the year 2017, where he was a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics & Traumatology in Switzerland and got his F.R.C.S (Trauma & Oth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. 

 

Throughout his medical journey, Dr Armughan Azhar has been a great mentor for many and achieved great heights as an administrator for many programs. Dr Azhar also has more than seven academic publications to his name. He is continuously driven to better himself by keeping well-informed about the latest changes in the medical world. 

 

On the personal front, Dr Azhar enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. Whether cycling or playing cricket, Dr Azhar ensures he is a positive role model for his son. In addition, Dr Azhar confirms staying in touch with his roots by often organising free medical camps in many rural regions of Pakistan.
